About This Website
This site was mainly developed because I was always interested in weather and also interested in web design. More importantly I was the type of person who watchs thunderstorms, lightning, and even rain or snow falling. In May 2005, I bought the La Crosse Technology WS2010 Weather Station and started Hobart, IN Weather. In the middle of 2006, I moved to NM and brought my weather station with me. I then started Clovis, NM Weather but lacked the Wind and Rain sensor. January 2009 I then decided it was time to upgrade my weather station and went with the Oregon Scientific WMR200 model and so far I'm in love. All of the weather data is logged, stored, and also sent to several locations such as Weather Underground, Ham Weather, and CWOP. You can view all of the locations on my Links page.
This is a personal Weather Station! Which means never base important decisions on this page. If there is an any advisories/alerts/warnings, Please turn on your NOAA weather radio or your television for latest updates. Thank You for visiting Portales, NM Weather!
